A few weeks back, Crysto Panda and vocalist Winnie Nwagi of Swangz Avenue collaborated on a song named “Mukisenge”. It was one of Panda’s most costly musical ventures, he claimed.
The song gained popularity and favorable reviews from fans, as well as many spins on streaming sites.
Crysto Panda was shocked to hear that Winnie Nwagi had released a new song named “Okubye Nyo” shortly after they started working together.
Gonza, Winnie Nwagi’s manager, was contacted to inquire about the song’s release. He felt that it was inappropriate because it would directly compete with their recently released duet.
Gonza further, saying that popular music video network Vevo determined when to release the track.
With this development in mind, Crysto Panda emphasized how critical it is that established musicians promote the music projects they have collaborated on with emerging artists.
His advice to them was to create space rather than release their tracks in direct conflict with the projects they have recently worked on with up-and-coming artists.
