After five years of waiting, Mudra has finally been compensated for his contribution to vocalist Karole Kasita’s popular song “Yaka.” Mudra, the song’s songwriter, has been pursuing the debtor for months.
In a recent appearance on Galaxy FM, he stated unequivocally that the situation has been resolved and that there is no longer any animosity between him and the artist.
“After this last interview, she called me… and gave me the money… so we’re fine,” Mudra says. Karole Kasita also sent an apology along with the money. Mudra, known for writing successful songs for a variety of musicians, has now begun a singing career.
“Yaka” was launched in 2018 and rapidly became popular. Because of its popularity, Kasita and Mudra collaborated again to make the equally popular song “Mwoto,” which also features Cindy Sanyu.
