Nnabagereka A party from the Buganda Kingdom was led by Sylvia Nagginda to meet with President Yoweri Museveni at State House Entebbe.

She explained that the Nnabagereka Development Foundation (NDF) would inform the President of Mayiga’s upcoming initiative and that this was the main purpose for the visit.

The project aims to assist the following generation in promoting their culture via growth, with an emphasis on “obuntu bulamu” (a concept centered on humanity and community).

Eventually, the project will spread to other regions of the country, according to Mayiga.

He also emphasized the close cooperation between Buganda and the UN, which frequently involves government involvement in obtaining funding and resources for development projects.

One of its most well-known initiatives is the yearly children’s camp (Ekisakaate), which attempts to raise cultural awareness among the younger generation.

In addition, Mayiga said that working with the international organization was necessary in order to repair the Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
