The Ugandan HipHop / Afrobeat singer Ssemanda Timothy alias Royal Jeff has raised tension to fellow artists after his announcement of new music band which he called the JP Band which is said to spark-off debut performance on the 5th November 2024 at the JP Production offices in Kyanja.
Royal Jeff via his social media handles announced that he can never rest when he can put a flag on Uganda’s music industry through his potential. He also added that since Uganda is a music growing nation, we need to unite as Ugandans to uplift our own industry and no Nigerians will lift it for us. Jeff is not the first artist to start up a music band though he is the first Ugandan artist to start up a music band at his age.
The JP Band unveiled their music equipment which were all imported and are expected to have spent millions of money to be at our local ground. JP Band is said to be one of the freshest bands which is going to be managed and run by a young generation talent with a C.E.O of the youth generation unlike other bands like Afrigo band.
At the official debut of the band night, there are many Ugandan artistes on list who are to put up a strong performance to entertain Kampala music lovers. This is all to happen at JP Production company in Kyanja.
