Bobi Wine, made a heartwarming impact on New Year’s as videos circulated showing him distributing foodstuffs to the poor and homeless.
Via his X Page, Bobi Wine stated:
“Last night, we visited the streets of Kampala to share some food with our people who are homeless. Only those who have slept hungry for lack of food or slept on the street before would understand the pain which these people go through every day. We thought it was important to share with them the first supper of the new year and give them words of encouragement. It is also important to raise their plight, because they end up on the streets for different reasons. Such people must be thought about as we plan and strive to build a nation where all citizens live in dignity.”
The scenes captured the artist engaging with the less fortunate, emphasising the importance of sharing blessings with those in need.
Expressing his commitment to raising awareness about the plight of the less privileged, Bobi Wine’s actions extended beyond a simple act of charity.
