It is alleged that Fik Fameica failed to compensate singer-songwriter Fixon Magna for penning his hit song “Bwe Paba.”

Fixon says he didn’t have a formal contract outlining how much he would be paid when he wrote the song because he and Fameica got along well in the studio.

He had not expected Fik Fameica to give him any credit at all when the song was released, so he was surprised when it did.

Fixon said in the Galaxy TV interview that he is still not discouraged even though Fik Fameica hasn’t given him any recognition or anything for his work.

On the other hand, after witnessing one of his songs become a number-one hit, he is inspired to work even harder.

Uganda had an immediate hit with “Bwe Paba,” which was released on September 22, 2023, because to its catchy beat and lyrics.

The song, which was co-produced by renowned producers Artin Pro D’maria, was written by Fameica and Sheebah.

Although the song’s exact earnings since publication are unknown, it has been widely played on radio stations across the country since its release.

Since many producers and performers are accused of exploiting the creative labor of others, composer credit and pay are contentious issues in the music industry.
