Fik Fameica begged Grenade, a bandmate, not to engage him in their ongoing argument with Sheilah Gashumba after their song “Mumpemu,” which they co-wrote, was released.
The timing of Grenade’s new song, “Mumpemu,” release seems wrong, according to several online users and one of the project’s musicians, Fik Fameica.
Fik Fameica’s track with that feature was released by Grenade on Wednesday afternoon, just a few days after he got into a bar fight with another musician, Rickman.
Grenade, who has been hiding out, has been under fire from various people in the film industry for his terrible behavior since Sunday’s pub altercation with Rickman and his party.
Online users questioned the content of the new song as soon as Grenade shared the song’s audio to his Instagram account.
Some people started talking about Fik Fameica and asking him why he had allowed Grenade to utilize him in their ongoing conflict.
The Fresh Gang singer immediately replied to Grenade’s request that he stay out of his Instagram drama.
Fameica said, “Man, I didn’t drop a verse on this song for you to involve me in your drama,” to which Grenade retorted, “Bro, no one is in drama, I just dropped my song for the fans.”
Although Grenade and Fik Fameica have worked together on a few music projects in the past, the time of the debut of this new song doesn’t seem to be in the latter’s favor.
