Kapa Cat has decided to part ways with her most recent management team, Karma Ivan and Arafat.

She signed with them in May 2023, following her split from Taf Music, and this decision was taken only a few months later.

On September 8, 2023, Kapa Cat delivered a speech explaining her decision at a press conference at the Hotel Africana, where artist Geosteady was performing

Kapa Cat expressed her dissatisfaction with management, stating that they failed to follow out their agreed-upon promotional and marketing obligations, rendering their efforts ineffective.

Kapa Cat said in her own words, “I don’t waste time.” Karma Ivan failed to carry out the agreed-upon marketing and promotion.

Given that they didn’t even advertise the music they played for me, why do you think I’ll stay there? No! Give me some leeway to be autonomous in such scenario. Most of the time, we hire management because we want them to provide us with quality music and other services. We leave if they don’t live up to our expectations.

Despite their professional separation, Kapa Cat said she will continue to maintain a friendship relationship with Karma and Arafat.

Kapa Cat questioned why the singer Pallaso hadn’t warned her about Karma Ivan. It should be mentioned that Karma Ivan oversaw Pallaso before to their breakup.
